Mrs. Mabel Sullivan Ridgely, 74, died suddenly on Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the home of her daughter in Rose Haven. She was the wife of the late Melvin L. Ridgely who was postmaster of Gaithersburg.
She was a resident of Gaithersburg for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn R. Harvey, Rose Haven; two sons, D. Eugene Ridgely, Washington, D.C. arid John W. Ridgely, Raleigh. N.C.: nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ridgely rests at the Gartner-Sandison Funeral Home, 316 E. Diamond Ave., Gaithersburg, where friends may call on Thursday, Dec. 30, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m. Interment will be made in the Forest Oak Cemetery, Gaithersburg.
