Mrs. Hazel M. Herald. 50, widow of Rial Herald, died Thursday at her home.

She was born Feb. 10. 1920 at Damariscotta, the daughter of John and Marguerette Lessner Crocker.

She is survived by a son. Earl of Round Pond, two daughters, Mrs. Alene Bailey of Topsham and Mrs Edith Pelletier of LaMesa, Calif.: two sisters, Mrs. Edna Weaver of Damariscotta and Mrs. Florence Cossette of Wiscasset: three brothers, Ernest Crocker of Boothbay, Edward Crocker of Massachusetts and Chester Crocker of Wiscasset and nine grandchildren.
