Dr. Orville R. Harding, of the Harding Chiropractic Office of Morrisville, died in St. Francis Medical Center from complications of cancer.
Born in Philadelphia, Dr. Harding was awarded his doctorate degree in Chiropractic in 1939 from the Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic in Philadelphia.
A 1964 graduate of the New York College of Chiropractic, he was licensed to practice physiotherapy in the State of New Jersey.
During his long career, Dr. Harding practiced in New York, Philadelphia, and Italy. Locally, he practiced in Morrisville with his cousin, the late Dr. John Diesel, and his son, Dr. Richard Harding. He studied acupuncture in the Orient and Mexico, and taught Chiropractic throughout Italy.
An inventor and innovator of machinery and instruments pertaining to the health field, he was a partner in Harding and Seltzer Surgical Supply, and State Surgical Supply.
Dr. Harding was a member of the Trenton Optomist Club, the Trenton Tadpoles, the Carteret Club, the B.P.O.E. of Morrisville, Mercer Lodge No. 50 F&AM, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Trenton, and Crescent Temple A.A.O.N.M.S.
