Virginia H. Wetenkamp, age 93, of Manitowoc passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Virginia was born June 2, 1920 in Green Bay, daughter of the late John and Caroline (VanLannen) Allen. On February 21, 1938 she was married to Elmer Wetenkamp in Menominee, MI. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1995. She was a homemaker and worked for National Tinsel. Virginia enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family up North.

Virginia is survived by two children: Larry (Yvonne) Wetenkamp, Manitowoc; Sandra Wetenkamp, Manitowoc; one son-in-law: Stephen Krauss, Kimberly; one sister: Patricia Brown, CA; 7 grandchildren: Cheryl (Bob) Kakuk; Sue Wetenkamp; Anne Williams; Teresa (Bruce) Komassa; Heather Jensen; Tammy Wetenkamp; Stacy Wetenkamp; 9 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Caroline; her husband: Elmer; one daughter: Nancy Krauss; one granddaughter: Debbie Krauss; 6 sisters and 4 brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, December 30, 2013 at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. The Deacon Al Boeldt will officiate with burial of her cremated remains to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc is serving the family.
