Here is the text of her obituary which I thought would be nice to add to her memorial.
"At three o'clock this morning, Margie Marks, only daughter of Major and Mrs. M. L. Marks, died. She was 7 years old, and one of the brightest, happiest and most interesting of the children in the beautiful neighborhood. She was taken with headache last Thursday evening; the next morning it was discovered that her ailment was diphtheria, which proved malignant and fatal.
