ANDREWS, James "Jay" Allen, Jr, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Jay was pastor at Snowdoun United Methodist Church and loved every minute of it. He had a huge heart for missions and was very involved in Habitat for Humanity. Jay was preceded in death by his father, James Allen Andrews, Sr., his mother, Carolyn Faye Tucker Andrews and his grandson, Asher James Andrews.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his sons, Jake (Chris) Andrews, Josh (Elizabeth) Andrews and Jeremy (Melissa) Andrews; his step-sons, Jacob (Natalie) Burnett, Zachary (Samantha) Burnett and Justin Burnett; his grandchildren, Isabella, Ava, Emma, Benjamin, Elliott, Henry, Lucy-Mae; his brother, Jeff (Wanda) Andrews and his nieces, Jessi and Jasmine Andrews.

Visitation will be at St. James United Methodist Church at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 28, 2013, followed by his Life Celebration Service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Snowdoun UMC or Habitat for Humanity Montgomery. On line condolences may be made at www.alabamaheritagefh.com.
