Died at Verona, January 21, 1871, Patty, the wife of the Rev. Lyman Beach, a member of the New York Central Conference aged 78 years. She experienced religion in her youthful days and maintained the Christian character to the last. She was the mother of eleven children, ten of whom are heads of families and nine are still living; about eighty grandchildren, and thirty six great grand children. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord.

Patty, wife of Rev.Lyman Beach, a member of the Central New York Conference, died at Verona, N.Y., Jan. 21, 1871, aged 76 years and 2 days.
She was the mother of eleven children, ten of whom became heads of families- the grand mother of eighty, and great-grandmother of thirty six. She embraced religion in her youth days, and maintained the Christian character to the last. She was a great suffer during last six months of her life, until within a few days of her death, and died in great peace, without struggle, sigh or groan. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord. Lyman Beach.
