She was preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Dorothy Coward and sister Mary Adair.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jim Tansey; son Nick Tansey; daughter-in-law Mindy Tansey; grandchildren Ben, Katie and Anna Tansey; and in-laws Claire Coleman, Ron and Barbara Ferrari and Marian Smith.
She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and the Agape Sunday School class.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 1 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
