Andrew Lawrence 4-month-old infant son to Kurt and Heather Anderson of Corning, went home to Heaven to be one of God's little angels on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, in Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Andrew's surviving family includes his parents, Kurt and Heather (Smith) Anderson of Corning, NY; along with his sister, Mackenzie Smith at home; maternal grandparents, Tina and Rod Burley of Beaver Dams, NY; maternal grandfather, Edward Smith of Lindley, NY and Floyd Button of Beaver Dams, NY; paternal grandparents, Don and Sharon Anderson of Horseheads, NY; maternal great-grandparents, Nina and Larry Smith of Beaver Dams, NY; paternal great-grandmother, Adelene Grubb of Horseheads, NY; aunts and uncles, Jennifer, Audrey, Amanda, James, and Josh Smith, Teresa and Kevin Ribble of Wellsburg, NY, Chris Anderson and Sarah Seage of Harrisburg, PA; a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends. Although he was only with us a short time, Andrew Mr. Man fought a courageous battle and was a teacher to us all, a small boy who left a big footprint. We can all take comfort knowing that although Andrew may have been small his impact was immense. He will be loved and missed. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 South Main St., Horseheads, on Friday, November 25, 2005, from 4 to 7 p.m. A celebration of his life will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, November 26, 2005, at 10 a.m., with burial service to follow in Beaver Dams Cemetery. A blessing of thanks to the many health care workers, friends and caregivers, including Dr. Krause, the many nurses from Arnot Pediatrics and Deb Jaynes and Kristen Source from Hospice for their comfort and many acts of kindness. We are all thankful you were there for us.
