HATTIE RUTH GREEN (NEE: EVANS) - 66

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Green, 66, who died Tuesday, March 24, shortly after arrival at a local hospital were held Thursday, March 26 at 3:30 P.M. in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Luttrell and Rev. Raymond Roberts officiating. Interment followed in Bethlehem Cemetery, east of Lake City on Road 100 with Buck Green, Bill Green, Donald Green, Earl Evans, Lonzo Evans and Emil Owens serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Green was born in Columbia County moving to Lake Butler in 1942 and then back to Lake City in 1948 where she had resided since. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lois Batchelor, Jacksonville, Mrs. Irma Lee O'Neal, Ocala, and Mrs. Doris Moore, Live Oak, Mrs. Sevena Baum, Stuart, three sons, Hilliard Green and George Green, both of Lake City, and Lyman Green, Lake Butler, two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Owens, Lake City and Mrs. Lillie Owens of Lake City; two brothers, Vance Evans, Lake City and Robert Evans, Groveland. Mrs. Green had 17 grandchildren.
