Walter Harley Merrick - Died in Fontana, Calif., July 2,1977, 35541 Bella Vista Dr. Yucaipa, aged 74 years, native of Missouri and resident of Yucaipa for five and one half years, California 33 years. Deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Merrick of Yucaipa; one daughter, Mrs. Harlene Beers of Arizona; two grandchildren and one brother and one sister, P. C. Merrick and Mrs. Lula Amos, both of Webb City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at the Emmerson-Bartlett Yucaipa chapel. Bishop Alward L. Christensen of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Yucaipa, 2nd Ward, officiating. Interment in Inglewood Memorial Park Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel Yucaipa in charge.
