Jessie M. Klein, 92, of Rock Valley and formerly of Pella, died dec. 31 at Hegg memorial hopsital in Rock Valley.
She was born Sept. 14, 1888 to Charles C. and Martha Forsyth at Groton, S.D. She married Tunis Henry Klein at Humboldt Dec. 3, 1913, and the couple had two children, Donald and Bonnie.
The couple lived in Pella where her husband practiced law for 50 years. He Also was Mayor from 1949 to 1958. He died Feb. 21, 1965. She later moved to Rock Valley to live near her children.
Surviving are her children and their spouses: Mr. and Mrs. Donald F. Klein and Bonnie and John H. Smith, all of Rock Valley; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Second Reformed Church of Pella and of the Eastern Star.
