Ester Harris, age 67, of 7051 West 24th Avenue, Gary, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 1976 at St. Margaret's Hospital. Survivors: Husband, Claude; two daughters, Mrs Harold (Norma) Hinshaw and Mrs Claudia Harris, both of Griffith; one sister, Mrs Mabel (Emer) Kender of Hammond; three brothers, Lowell Stout of California, Wayne of Merrillville, Ervin of Indiana; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 30, 10:30 a.m. from Kuiper Funeral Home Chapel, with Larry L. Smith, minister, officiating. Burial in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home Chapel, 9039 Kleinman (2 blocks South of Ridge Road), Highland. Eastern Star Services, Thursday, 8:30 p.m.
She was a member of the Cline Gardens Christian Church of Hammond, Order of Eastern Star No. 330 and The Ladies Shrine of Hammond.
