STOCKLER, Charles Douglas (Doug) age 59, of Kettering, Ohio, died at Kettering Memorial Hospital in Kettering on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at approximately 11:00 P.M. Doug left this Universe for a higher ground after a lengthy illness. Son of the late Hugh and Bobby Stockler, Doug was born on September 28, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Belmont High School in 1972. He is survived by sisters, Glenda Dougherty (Jim) and Karen Sabato (Ben); brother Hugh Stockler; very special cousin Diane Williams; and dear friend Eleni Prieto. Doug is also survived by four nieces/nephews; five grand nieces/nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his constant companion, his cat Drusilla. We have lost a gentle soul. No one could have wished for a better friend, a more loyal confidant, or handpicked a sibling that brought them more laughter, who was always honest and direct. He had an incredible gift for telling stories and reminding you often that it is all in the delivery. There will be no services. A gathering of friends and relatives to memorialize Doug will be planned at a later date
