She worked most of her life in Manhattan Beach, California, working for Mervyn Department Store. After her retirement, she returned to her hometown of Cerro Gordo where she lived out her life.
Survived by two sons; mother Mary Anna Snoke; brother Ronald Snoke; sisters Virginia Walker, Helen David and Cathy Bolsen; two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather, grandparents, son Dean Rockwood.
Cremation was accorded.
