Blanchie Inez (Lee) Poore, "Granny," 85, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 21, 2013, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.
She was born Feb. 16, 1928, in Byrdstown, daughter of the late Etheridge and Alma (Meeks) Lee. Mrs. Poore was a homemaker, and a member of Homestead First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Keith Poore (Frances) and James Poore, all of Crossville, and Dean Poore (Mary) of Dickson, TN; daughter, Ruby Smith and friend, David, of Clinton, IL; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Owen Poore; son, Stanley Poore; mother, Alma Lee; sister, Oleen Evans; and brothers, Kenneth Lee and Donald Lee.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Dec. 27, with Bro. Thomas Davis officiating. Interment was in Williams Chapel Cemetery.
