Fred Brossard, second son of Richard and Nettie Brossard, died at the home of his parents northeast of town, on Sunday, December 19, at 1 p.m. of consumption. He was born October 2nd., 1881, in this county, and with the exception of a year spent in Washington state, he had lived all his life in this community. He leaves a young wife and two little boys, besides his father, mother, three sisters and one brother. The funeral services were held at the home, Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Moore assisted by the choir of the M. E. Church of Elysian. Interment at Cedar Hill cemetery at Elysian. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family who mourn the death of one so young to whom life seemed dear. — Elysian Enterprise.
