Mr. Shirrod died at his home at 15th and Elm Streets Sunday morning. Though he had been in poor health for several years, his condition was not considered serious.

Born February 12, 1878, in Jasper County, Mo., Mr. Shirrod came west with his parents in 1892. They settled first at Troy, Idaho, and later moved to the Uniontown area. Both Mr. Sherrod's parents and he farmed in that area for many years and Mr. Shirrod still owned his farm there.

He married Emma L. Hobson in February 1904. Mr. and Mrs. Shirrod moved to Clarkston in 1920 and had since made their home here. Mrs. Shirrod died in 1949.

Survivors are three brothers and a sister, William F. Shirrod of Genesee; Clarence E. Shirrod of Walla Walla; Forest Shirrod of Pullman, and Mrs. Dora Fish of Clarkston. Other survivors are a half brother and a half-sister, Mrs. Rosie White and T.W. Shirrod both of Lewiston; eight nephews and two nieces.
