Darrell Dunigan, 73, of Worthington passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

Darrell was born October 19, 1940, in Coal City, Ind., to Birthal and Pauline (Hulley) Dunigan.

Darrell was a very strong, hard-working man who loved the Lord, his family and horses.

Darrell worked at RCA for 29 years and was a Nazarene Minister to congregations in Worthington, Ind. and Kennard, Ohio. He graduated from Coal City High School in 1959 and Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1993.

He is survived by his wife, Judy (Sears) Dunigan, whom he married on October 27, 1961; three children, Leon (Jodi) Dunigan of Worthington, LeRae (David) Stout of Bloomfield, and Darla (Rich) Moore of Jasonville; eight granddaughters, LeRanda Gallien, Lacy LaRue, Mandi Moore, Lacquen McCabe, Nastasha Dunigan, Holli Moore, Darian Dunigan and Greta Dunigan; two great-granddaughters, Isabella LaRue and LaShay Dunigan; one sister, Mary Lois (Allen) Sexton, Palmer, AK, and one brother, Junior (Phyllis) Dunigan, Linton, Ind.; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Doyle and William Dunigan.

Funeral service will be at Faithway Bible Baptist Church in Worthington, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 with Revs. Mike Ladson and Bill Purcell officiating.

Friends may call at Welch & Cornett Worthington Chapel from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.

Burial will be in Fiscus Cemetery, Coal City.
