Daughter of Harold Allen Root and Thelma Lorraine/Nila Jordan. She died of Polio. She lived with her grandfather, Landis Allen Root & his 2nd wife Edith Korn from when her mother died in 1926 until she died in 1940. Her step grandmother kept her after her grandfather died. She is buried with them both, not her parents. Her father remarried in 1927 and had two more kids. Don't know why he didn't keep her with him.
