John Basil Mullican was the married son of Richard and Julina (Thomas) Mullican. He died at at 4:00 a.m. at the age of 81 years, six months, and one day of heart and senility according to his physician, Dr. J. C. Mudd of Springfield, Kentucky. Mattie Hagan of Springfield, Kentucky was the informant for his death certificate #2792 and said that John Basil had been a farmer. J. Y. Mayes was the undertaker in charge of his burial here on Jan. 24, 1912.
