Frank J. Baker of Venice, a supervisor for Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania where he was employed for 35 years prior to retirement in 1985, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 1997, at his home. He was 70.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and came to Florida in 1985 from there. He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge, Loyal Order of Moose and Radio Control Flyers Club, all of Venice.
He leaves three sons, Charles of Virginia Beach, Va., Clifford of Salina, Kan., and Christopher of Cranberry Township, Pa.; a daughter, Carolyn Ghelarducci of Norman, Okla.; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Friday, Aug. 15, at 10 a.m. at the Farley Funeral Home, Venice, with interment following at Venice Memorial Gardens.
