They are Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Dunn, who will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary tomorrow.
The couple was married in Chicago in 1889, Mr. Dunn worked for a railroad in that city for 20 years or more years prior to thier coming to this area. It was in 1905 -- 44 years ago -- that they came here to settle, which makes them real pioeers of this section of Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Dunn have one sone, B.B. (Ben) Dunn, owner oth the local "K" Club, and a grandson, J.L. Dunn. The elder Mrs. Dunn's niece, Mrs. Gertrude Curry, makes her home with them in Nokomis Heights.
The old people plan to have a quiet day tomorrow with their family.
