Loretta M. Akers, age 57, of Allen, wife of Mackie J. Akers, died
Saturday, December 19, 2009, in the Prestonsburg Nursing Facility, Prestonsburg.
She was born August 21, 1952 in Fostoria, OH. A daughter of the late D.C.
Mosley and Hersey Click Mosley. She was a Barber and was a member of the
Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Toby M. Akers, his
wife Tiffany, Martin, one brother, Ronald Mosley, Kendallville, IN, and
three grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan and Toby Akers Jr.
Funeral service were held Monday, December 21 at 7 p.m. in the Hall
Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Ronnie Samons officiating. Burial will be in
the John Akers Family Cemetery, Dana, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for
those arrangements.
