Miss Jean A. Ashby

Miss Jean Adella Ashby, 54, died sunday morning in the hospital after a long illness. She was born in Fort Fairfield June 29th, 1905, the daughter of George F. and Elizabeth Waldron Ashby. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. June Doig of Ridgewood, New Jersey, and Mrs. Louise Chamberlin of Huntington, Conn.; a brother, Norman of Fort Fairfield, five nephews and two nieces. Services were held at the Dorsey Funeral Home, Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Pallbearers were four nephews - William, Robert, and James Ashby and John Doig of Ridgewood. Burial was at the family lot at the Union Hill Cemetery on Harvey Hill.
