Edward Lagrone was the 11th person to be executed in the Country at the time for murder in 2004 and the 4th in Texas, that year. 46 at time of death, two weeks before his 47th Birthday. He was convicted in May, 1993 of the crime which occurred on May 30th, 1991. He murdered three people in cold blood. He used a shotgun. He murdered the 10 year old daughter of his ex-girlfriend, Pamela Lloyd. 10 year old Shakiesha Lloyd. Also two Aunt's of his ex-girlfriend, Pam. Zenobia Anderson-age-83 and Carolina Lloyd-age 76. All three victims were black females. Edward had sexually molested Pam's 10 year old daughter and impregnated the girl. Pam pursued sexual assault charges against him. He tried offering to pay for an abortion which she refused. So he went to her home early one morning with a shotgun. Blowing off half of Shakeisha's face. An autopsy was done on the girl. a 4-5 month female fetus was found in the girl. The DNA of the fetus proved to be Edward's child. And there was several witnesses left alive at the crime site, one Dempsy Llyod was also wounded by a shotguin blast, but survived and ran to get help, after he had pleaded for his life. At the time of his arrest, he was on parole for another slaying he committed, where he had recieved a 20 year sentence and was released in 1984. His last meal consisted of fried chicken and a variety of soft drinks. His final words, before the lethal injection was administered was, "I am not sad or bitter with anybody. Like I said from day one, I didn't go in there and kill them, but I'm no better than the people that did. Jesus is Lord. That's all I have to say."
