Florence M. Booher, 82, 719-l8th St., died
at 1:10 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph
Hospital, Kokomo.
She was born, in Logansport, Aug. 9,
1898, to Carl and Katherine Baker Gross.
She was married to Joseph F. Booher,
who preceded her in death April 19,1953.
A member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church,
she was a retired employee of Logansport
Machine.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph F.
Booher Jr., 4301 Jamestown Drive.; and
Andrew C. Booher,. Rossburg, Ohio;
two daughters, Joan Mucker, 525 22 St.;
and Geraldine Weghorst, Carmel; one
sister, Dorothy Grimes, Peru;
several nieces and nephews; 14 grand
children and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m.
Tuesday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church
with the Father Maurice Mill officiating.
Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Monday at Kroeger Funeral Home where
the the Rosary will be 7:30 p.m.

A pretty wedding ceremony was that of Miss
Florence M. Gross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John L. Gross of this city, to Joseph F.
Booher of Marion, Ind., which took place
this morning at 7:30 o'clock in the St.
Joseph's church with Rev. Father George
Moorman officiating. A large number of
relatives and friends of the couple
witnessed the ceremony.

The bride wore an attractive gown of white
organdy over satin with a white organdy hat
and carried a shower bouquet of bride's
roses and valley lilies. Her bridesmaid,
a sister, Miss Frances Gross wore jade
green organdy over satin with organdy hat
to match and carried Ophelia roses. The
groom was attended by a brother of the
bride, Fred Gross.

At nine o'clock this morning a wedding
breakfast was served to the immediate
relatives of the couple at the home of
the bride's parents in State street.

After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs.
Booher will make their home in Marion.
