At the time of his death, Bill was living in Montague, Michigan. Bill passed away after a lengthy battle with COPD and Cancer. Bill grew up in the Whitehall, Michigan area. He was married to Francis Smith from Fremont, Michigan at a very young age.(17 ) Together they had three children. Tina, William Jr. ( Now deceased 2020 ) and Kaye. Two children now children survive him. In his earlier days Bill was an auto mechanic, usually with his brother John. Bill's last job as a mechanic was at Chet's Sunoco Station in Whitehall. Later, after quitting that profession, Bill was a Muskegon Chronicle Newspaper delivery person. He particularly liked that job, as he enjoyed riding around the country side, meeting and talking to his customers. He was always accompanied by his dog. Bill had two sisters, Barbara (deceased) and Connie, who survives him. He had three brothers, James, John (deceased ) and Donald. Bill also had a very special nephew, James Hill ( Jimmy ), who was a great help to Bill in his later years.
Bill had a lot of friends in the area and will be missed by all of them.
