15 Nov 1960: Mrs. Emma L. Behney, 83, of Fredericksburg, died Monday afternoon at her home following a lingering illness of two and a half years. The widow of the late Charles Behney, she was the last of her family. She was the forelady of a former Fredericksburg shirt factory for 25 years. Born in Swatara Township, Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Ephriam & Rebecca Louser Lentz. She was a member of St. John United Church of Chrlst in Fredericksburg and Ladies Aid of the church as well as past president of Fredericksburg Fire Company Auxiliary. She leaves grandson Russell Haas, Fredericksburg, & daughter in-law Mrs. Helen Haas, with whom she lived; as well as a number of nieces & nephews. [Lebanon Daily News]
