Martha M. Maily April 28, 1924 - January 6, 2014 Sterling - Martha M. Maily, 89, of Church St. beloved wife of the late George J. Maily passed away unexpectedly Monday morning at Backus Emergency Care in Plainfield. She was born April 28, 1924 in Moosup a daughter of the late Andrew and Leona (Lepak) Kolek and had been a lifelong resident of Sterling. Mrs. Maily had been employed at Woolworth's in Moosup and last worked at Majestic Metal in Moosup. She was a communicant of All Hallows Church, Moosup. She leaves a son and daughter in law Scott and Robin Maily of Moosup; a daughter Janice M. Pratt of Sterling; two grandchildren Barry and Ryan Maily. Also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Chester, Leo and Edward Kolek and a sister Isabelle Dziedzic. -
