He worked as a Cook for Woodbine Developmental Center for 38 years before his retirement in 1982. He was a lifetime member of NJ Public Employees Union Local # 195.
He was predeceased by his wife, Millicent (nee Stephens) DeLanzo in 2007; and brother, Angelo DeLanzo; and sister, Inez Bogushessky.
Surviving are a daughter, Millicent Reese; four grandchildren, David, Melody, Eddie Reese and Robin Kearney; six great- grand-children, Rosalee, Jeffrey, Kalyn, Lauryn, William and Campbell; a sister, Mary Fraser; and brother, Ralph (Millie) DeLanzo; sister-in-law, Claire Howell and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, New Jersey. Burial will follow in Seaville Methodist Cemetery, Seaville, New Jersey.
