Joshua Matthew Smith, 21, of Watts Chapel Road, Kenna, passed away Nov. 6, 2005, following an automobile accident.

He was born Feb. 27, 1984, and a 2002 graduate of Ripley High School. Matthew was currently employed by NATCO as a service tech and maintenance worker.

Surviving Matthew are his loving parents, Melvin Lee and Carla Marion Smith of Kenna; his sister, Kristy Smith of Charleston; and grandparents, Sylvia Marion of Romance, Melvin and Marble Smith of Kenna. Matthew leaves behind lots of other family and close friends to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Marion.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be at his family farm on First Creek Road. The service will be conducted by his family and friends.

Visitation is Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
