Albert Lindsay Halpen -- Albert Lindsay Halpen, 67, of Seaford, passed away on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood. Born in Wilmington, he was the son of the late Emma E. Andrews and William L. Halpen. He was an accountant for William G. Saulsbury, CPA, of Seaford. He was a US Coast Guard veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Virgil Wilson Post 4961 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Nanticoke Post 6 American Legion, and Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, all in Seaford. He is survived by a sister, Linda Halpen of Westover, Md.; an aunt, June Van Vorst of Laurel; a brother and sister-in-law, Sue and Jim Ellis of Seaford; three great nieces; two great nephews; two great great nieces and three great great nephews. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna Lynn Ellis Halpen, in July 2010.
