John M Bauman Answers Last Roll Call at Six O'clock Last Monday Morning
After an illness of about two years with throat and lung trouble, John M. Bauman passed away last Monday morning at six o'clock at the Emergency Hospital, in the 62nd year of his age, being born in Philadelphia, on 7 Jul 1851 and removing to Warren in the year 1880. He is survived by three daughters and three sons, Stanley of Perth Amboy, NJ; Emma, Wallace, William and Harriet of Warren, and Mazie of Canton, O., two sisters also survive, Mrs. Louise Walson and Mrs. Carrie Shoeman, of New York City.
The deceased was well known here as a good clerk and hotel manager, being at one time landlord of the Exchange Hotel, and had many friends who sympathize with the bereaved relatives in their great loss.
The funeral was held on Wednesday from the home, Melrose Place, at 2:30 pm. Burial was in Oakland cemetery and was private.
