TOLEDO -- Mrs. Fredricka Lancaster of 341 Floyd Street, passed away on her Eighty-first birthday Wednesday morning in the Cardinal Rest Home here. She entered the home when she suffered a stroke two weeks ago.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Farnham Funeral Home at Temperance. The Reverend Robert Moore, Pastor of the Lambertville Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Lambertville Cemetery.
Born October 19, 1879, she was the daughter of David and Amelia Ridgeway of New Castle, Delaware. She was married to Arthur Lancaster, and he preceded her in death in 1946.
She lived in Toledo for the last 25 years. A registered nurse, she was floor supervisor of William Roach Hospital here until her retirement in 1955.
She is survived by a son, Lawrence of Lambertville; a sister, Mrs. Helen France of Chicago, and three grandchildren.
