Funeral services for Alton Chappell, 89 of The Woodlands will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2003 in the Cashner Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2003 at Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Chappell was born May 06, 1914 in Attoyac, TX and passed away October 25, 2003 in Humble, Texas. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Chappell and daughter, Diana Oatis. He is survived by his daughter: Billie Sanford of Humble, TX, Step-daughter: Nickie Moorer and husband, Sonny of Houston, TX, son: Vernon L. Chappell of Humble, TX, Step-son: Gary Goins and wife, Ninabeth of Friendswood, TX, 7 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. A host of other loving family and friends also survive.
