Donald F. Pekulik, age 64, a resident of North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Manitou Manor, Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon, January 20, 2000, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2000, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski, O.F.M, with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born July 16, 1935, in Manitowoc, son of the late Frank and Anna Sobieszczyk Pekulik. Don was employed with the Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter for 23 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #706, St. Mary's Men's Club and also served as an usher for many years at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Marianne Pekulik, Manitowoc; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Leona and Clarence Schepper, Two Rivers, Sally and Harold Walters, Manitowoc, Florence Kraemer, Manitowoc, Maryann and Loren Philipps, Wausaukee; and a special friend, Ann Schultz, Manitowoc. Niece, nephews, great niece sand nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, from 10 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church Renovation Fund.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
