Ferne M. Unangst, 91, formerly of Coleman St., Bethlehem, died peacefully Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She is the wife of the late Calvert E. Unangst. Ferne was born in Hellertown on July 11, 1926 and daughter of the late Jacob Sherk and Lillian Renninger. She is a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
Survivors: Children: Dawn L. Seyfried of Bethlehem, the Reverend Edward A. Unangst, and his wife Susan of Germansville; sister: Geraldine Kresh of Saylorsburg; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased in death by: a son: Dennis C. Unangst Sr.; grandson: Dennis C. Unangst Jr.; siblings: Joyce, Caroline, and Aaron.
