Brian Robert Horne, age 28, is now at peace with his forgiving Savior. He was a native of Norwalk, CT, and presently employed with the Barry Robinson Center. Brian was an Honors Graduate of Hamden Sydney College and working on his Masters of Education at ODU. Brain was predeceased by his mother, Anna-Maria Horne; paternal grandparents Michaelena and James Horne; maternal grandfather, Louis Caruso; maternal great-grandparents, Angelina and Andrew Caruso. Brian is survived by his dad, Robert Horne and his step mom Patricia; brother, Jeremy Paul Horne and his wife Rachel Elizabeth; a niece Anna Maria Horne all of VA Beach; a step brother Alan Pyne and his wife Angela of Chesapeake; step sister Melisa Oaks and her husband Bill; nephews Alan and Alex; step sister Beth Martin and her husband Dennis; nieces Katee and Ashlee; nephew Ryan, all of Portsmouth; maternal grandmother, Linda Caruso of Norwalk, CT; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Rev. John Robertson and Father Jim Griffin, followed by interment in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, will hold a funeral service at 2:00 PM Saturday in Rivershore Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, from 7-8:30 P.M. on Friday. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Barry Robinson Center.
