The son of ......illegible...... and Sarah Sidebottom Baker, he was born June 25, 1880 in Pulaski County. He was married to Ina Haynes and later to Ellen Burton. Both preceded him in death. Mr. Baker was a member of the Ferguson Baptist Church.
Survivors are the following children, Geneva Waddle and Lucille Ballou, both of Dayton, Ohio, Edith Massoney, Rockford, Ill. and a stepson, Raymond Lovell, Dayton, Ohio, the following grandchildren, Sheron Vermillion and Richard Ballou, both of Dayton, Debra and Michale Massoney, both of Rockford, Ill, two sisters, Mrs. Cassie Hamm, 212 Liberty Street, and Mrs. Emma Tate, Heavener, Okla.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company with the Rev. John Gaines officiating. Burial in the Somerset Cemetery.

Napoleon Baker, age 86, of E. Dorothy Lane, died Thursday. He was a retired engineer of the Southern Railroad. Survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Howard Ballou, Mrs. Calvin Waddle of Dayton, Mrs. Dwight Massoney, of Rockville, Ill.; 1 stepson, Raymond Lovell of Dayton; also 2 sisters; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
