Thomas A. Maynor, the popular mail carrier on route 1, Oneonta, and Mrs. Bertha M. Smith, were married in Oneonta Sunday, Rev. S. R. Lester officiating. The Democrat joins their many friends in extending congratulations.

Mrs. T. A. Maynor Dead.
Mrs. Thomas A. Maynor died at the family residence on South Third Street Tuesday afternoon. Her death was due to a cancerous condition. She had been seriously ill for several weeks. The deceased was 48 years of age and was a member of the Southern Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, two step-sons, Thomas of Birmingham and Ebbin Maynor of Oneonta; two daughters, Miss Thelma Smith of Anniston and Miss Margaret Maynor of Oneonta; one step-daughter, Mrs. Marvin Kelley of Montrose, Arkansas; four brothers, J.H and H.D. Beason of Birmingham; E.H. Beason of Springville and A.L. Beason of Steeles; four sisters, Miss Mary Beason and Mrs. Frank Roberson of Collinsville, Mrs. Hubert Swann of Attalla and Mrs. Tom Hambey of Irondale. The funeral services were held at Lester Memorial Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. Will R. Howell. The interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery with Cox Funeral Home in charge.
