Alice L. Fife, 73, of Villa Grove died at 10:08 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 8, 2014) at home.
She was born Oct. 12, 1940 in Tuscola, a daughter of Roy and Geneva Rideout Wilhelm. She was preceded in death by one son and two brothers.
She is survived by three sons, Jim Shanks, John Shanks and Jason Shanks; two daughters, Terrie Cravens and Tammy Southard; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ray Wilhelm, Wayne Wilhelm and Dean Wilhelm and two sisters, Kay Hurt and Jean Brown.
She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at several different nursing homes in the area.
