Wallace E. Romig, Jr., 80, of Myerstown, formerly of New Tripoli, PA, died Sunday, January 12, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
He was the husband of Mary L. (Smith) Romig who died October 10, 2011.
Born in Allentown on August 3, 1933, he was the son of the late Wallace E., Sr., and Clara E. (Remaley) Romig.
A member of Myerstown Baptist Church, he was employed as a truck driver for more than 50 years. He was involved with the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed camping and traveling.
He is survived by daughters, Donna Dodd of Allentown; Gail wife of Daryl Keim of Kutztown; Cynthia Romig of Allentown; son, Wallace, III, husband of Catherine Romig of New Ringgold; step daughters, Cindy wife of Scott Patschke of Myerstown, Patti wife of Bruce Mays of Myerstown; step sons, Jeffrey husband of Linda Thomas of Myerstown; Earl husband of Fran Thomas of Myerstown; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; brothers, George, Sr., husband of Joan Romig of New Tripoli; Clifford husband of Sarah Romig of New Tripoli; Morris husband of Bonnie Romig of New Tripoli; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sons, Robert Thomas, Ricky Romig, and Kevin Romig; a granddaughter, Cali Romig; a great grandson, Gavin Thomas; and a brother, James Romig, Sr.
