"MRS. E. O. PAXTON OF CHARLESTON DIES -
Charleston, Ill. -- Mrs. E. O. Paxson, 61, died at her home here Sunday evening following an illness of a week. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the First Christian Church. Rev. Paul E. Hubele will officiate, and burial will be in Mound Cemetery.
Mrs. Paxson, as Alice F. Drake, was born in Charleston, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Drake. She was married 38 years ago.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Sam Schwarts of Mattoon; two sisters and two brothers. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star."
