Mrs. Byrd died Monday in a Delhi nursing home after a short illness. She was a member of Epps Methodist Church and was a life-long resident of Richland Parish.
Burial was to be in Masonic Cemetery here by Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Willie LeFevre of Epps; a son, George Byrd of Greenville, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Susie Dew of Epps; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Named pallbearers were Edward Mosley, Inmon Roswell, Clarence Hawkins, Cecil Roberts, Thomas Lusk and Ray Tharpe.
