Donald Raymond Carbaugh went to be with his heavenly family January 29, 2016. Don was born May 6, 1918, in Cranberry, Pennsylvania, to Raymond and Florence Carbaugh. Don is survived by his loving wife of seventy-seven years, Betty Carbaugh; two sons, Donald “Donnie” Carbaugh, Jr. and his wife, Barbara, and Ronald “Ron” Carbaugh and his wife, Christine; two daughters, Sandi Carbaugh Goodwin and her husband, John, and Jane Carbaugh Hargett; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Gilbert, six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and seven step-great-grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Florence Carbaugh; brother, Lysle Carbaugh; and grandson, Mitchell McFarland. A gathering of Mr. Carbaugh’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 1, 2016, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, in the Tranquility Mausoleum, under the direction of Broussard’s. The family wishes to thank Dr. Bertran Brown and his staff at Summer Place in Beaumont for their care.
