Will Adam Dies; Of Pioneer Family

William (Will) Adams, 88, 718 Avenue F, died Thursday at a local hospital after a 10-day illness.

Mr. Adams was a member of one of Pottawattamie County's pioneer families. He was born in Crescent Township in 1889. (This may not be correct.) His father, Robert Adams, was an associated of the original Pony Express Co. before settling in this county.

Mr Adams was associated with an Omaha department store 37 years. He retired three years ago.

He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints; Excelsior Lodge 259, AF and AM: and the Royal Arcanum Society.

Survivors in: widow, Adelaide; two sisters, Miss Minnie Adams of Council Bluffs and Mrs. C.L. Carstensen of Santa Monica, Calif.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Woodring's Chapel. Elder Charles Putnam and the Rev. John E. Booth of the Reorganized Church will officiate. Interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
