Dies at Hospital
Charles W. Hines, 91, 1207 Chestnut St., Noblesville, passed away in Riverview Hospital Thursday evening after an illness of about six months. He entered the hospital for the third time Wednesday evening.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Coaltrin Funeral Home by Rev. Robert Todd of the E.U.B. church. Burial will occur in Crownview Cemetery at Sheridan. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
Mr. Hines was born in Hamilton County near Eagletown, son of Benjamin H. and Mary E. (Gilpin) Hines. He was employed with the Monon Railroad and New York Central system for a number of years.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Anderson, the Masonic Lodge of Fortville and the Red Men Lodge of Sherdian.
He is survived by his widow, three sons, Ray V. Hines and Robert N. Hines of Anderson and Leonard N. Hines of Indianapolis, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
