James Richard (Jim) Anderson, 82, Waynesboro, TN, died at Baptist Hospital, Nashville, TN, Friday, November 11, 2005. He was a son of the late Herbert Thomas and Ruby Young Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was a retired steampitter and a member of Waynesboro Church of Christ. He was a Past President of the Lions Club, a member of the Wayne County Historical Society, and member of the Wayne County Senior Citizens Committee, and the Senior Advisory Board.

Mr. Anderson served in the United States Navy during WW II.

Survivors, wife, Rubye Brewer Anderson, Waynesboro, TN; son, James T. (Tom) Anderson, Columbia, TN; daughters, Marilyn Sue Jordan, Nashville, TN and Martha Nell Clark, Cookeville, TN; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Howard Anderson, FL; sisters, Veanilea Anderson, Birmingham, AL, Mary Jean Green, NC, and June Morrison, Gardendale, AL
