Alta Petzold Hoppe passed away early Tuesday morning, September 5, 1995 at Tolfree Memorial Hospital in West Branch, MI following a lingering illness, age 68 years. She was born August 2, 1927 in Millington, MI and has resided in this area most of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Frederick J. Hoppe Jr. whom she married November 10, 1946 in Millington, MI. Also surviving are three sons; Gary (Verla) Hoppe of Laveen, AZ., Dennis (Margaret) Hoppe and Ronald (his fiancee Ann Van Zandt), all of Saginaw, MI; her grandchildren; Pam, Allan, Paul, Cody, Laura, Matthew, Douglas, Russell, Sheila, Jennifer, Michael, Rachel and Taryn; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Luella) Petzold; two sisters, Erna (Erwin) Reinert and Dorothy (Kenneth) Platt, all of Millington, MI; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Petzold of Millington, MI; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by on brother, Melvin Petzold.
Funeral service will take...private interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery....
